Debt Counseling
MTA members are well-educated professionals providing a variety of invaluable services to the Commonwealth's students. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean our members are immune to the financial pressures that come from living and working here in Massachusetts. If you want to know how you can keep your income and debt under control, we invite you to participate in a webinar conducted by our benefits partner, Cambridge Credit Counseling. You may have participated in a student loan webinar with Cambridge Credit Counseling, but for 25 years they've also been providing counseling and education services about personal finance. A range of issues will be discussed, including:
- How to understand credit scores and read credit reports, including changes regarding medical debt
- How to prepare family budgets that will actually help you meet short-term and long-term financial goals
- How to effectively manage debt
- How to deal with identity theft
As always, Cambridge Credit Counseling's webinars will include live Q&A time to respond to your questions. Don't let your debts overwhelm your family's budget. Join us on the following dates and times to find out how to regain control of your finances.
