Connie Dery brings 40+ years of insurance industry experience in sales, underwriting, and management to MTA Benefits, Inc. In her present capacity, she's responsible to the Board of Directors for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating all activities of MTA Benefits. Her responsibilities include the development of new programs, improvement of existing programs as well as negotiation of compensation plans with all vendors in key areas. She also coordinates activities with appropriate officers within MTA, MTA Benefits, NEA, trade associations; as well as appropriate governmental regulatory personnel and policy makers. She most recently served as Vice President of the MOAC National Service Center in Denver, Colorado which serviced 48 states for ocean and inland marine exposures. Prior to that, as Vice President with the Continental Insurance Company, she was responsible for all Personal Lines Production for the New England Region.
